ATLAS Academy Hosts Read Across America Day

On Wednesday, March 2nd, ATLAS Ministry participated in Read Across America Day. Volunteers from the community joined ATLAS' staff to read a "Kibby" story to the ATLAS Academy students. Students were read to in a small group, and then had a meet and greet with local award winning author Andrea Cassell, and book-star ,Kibby, himself.

The final activity of the afternoon was a surprise "Scoops" Ice-Cream truck outside. ATLAS' staff enjoyed celebrating the joy of reading with their awesome students and volunteers.
