Previously, he served as EY Americas Vice Chair of Accounts, leading growth strategy by engaging and motivating 71,000 personnel to drive growth and propel the EY brand in the market. He also served as EY Americas Vice Chair of Advisory Services, helping clients improve performance, manage risk and transform industries. During this time, he helped grow the practice from US$1.5B in revenue with 6,000 consultants to US$4.9B in revenue with 16,000 consultants.

Bob was recognized by Consulting Magazine with their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 and, in 2011, as one of its top 25 consultants honored for Excellence in Leadership. He is also a LinkedIn Influencer, writing extensively on leadership, purpose and innovation.

Bob lives at Lake Oconee with his wife Cornelia and is an active member of Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church. He and Cornelia have two children, Alex Chapman and Rob Patton.
