CLC Director
Gerald Davis is the CLC director for Atlas. Gerald was born in Greensboro Ga and attended Valdosta State university. While at Valdosta State Gerald played four years of collegiate football winning two national titles.
Gerald’s goals are to be a servant leader and positively impact as many lives as possible. Equipping young people with tools that can be utilized their entire life is a mission that he takes seriously. Gerald has worked in Youth Services field for the past nine years. He began his Career in 2012 at Sequel Transitional Academy 32 bed all boy’s facility. There he was responsible for the day-to-day operations.
In 2016 Gerald was promoted to Group Living Director at Mingus Mountain Academy. At Mingus Mountain Academy Gerald was responsible for the supervision of 100 staff members. In 2020 Gerald left Sequel and relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. There he served as the Residential Director for Lighthouse Youth and family services.
Gerald is Married to Karen D. Davis. Karen and Gerald have been married for ten years. They also have a seven-year-old son named Aaron Davis. During the Davis family spare time they enjoy watching sports, fishing and spending time together as a family.
Gerald is passionate about being able to pour back into the community that he grew up. He believes Atlas is a great vehicle to utilize for connection with the community. Teaching young people how to apply the word of God to their everyday life is Gerald’s mission. He is overly excited to see what God has instore for our youth.
