Community Engagement Coordinator

Kirsten Thompson joined the ATLAS team in October 2024 and works closely with Lisa Brondyke, the Director of Development. She has a background in small business, content marketing, and event coordination. For three years, she co-owned a retail store in downtown Greensboro, and hosted many events both in the shop and for the community of Greensboro through the Greensboro Business Association.

She and her husband Mark, along with their daughter Marley, moved to Greensboro in 2018. Their daughter Marley is a pre-med student at The University of Georgia. They are members of Lakeside Church at Lake Oconee. Kirsten is passionate about helping people learn how to study the Bible, and hosts small groups and Bible study workshops regularly. She and her husband enjoy the lake life, their church, and the many friends they have made since calling Greensboro “home”.
