Director of Development

Lisa joined ATLAS in August 2023 as the Community Engagement Officer, and was promoted to Development Director in February 2024. Lisa has a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing from Georgia State University. She brings with her years of experience in both the corporate and education realms. She has traveled the US training executives from Fortune 500 companies in business development and management skills, but also spent time in the field of Education teaching high school students. She has a passion for helping others, and loving people. From that passion she has spent years fundraising for CURE Childhood Cancer and Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center for children.

Lisa and her husband, Steven, have been married for 35 years. They have raised two sons, both are married. Her older son and his wife have three little girls, and her younger son and his wife have one little girl. One of her greatest blessings is being 'Nana" to her granddaughters. Lisa came to know the Lord as her Savior when she was 10 years old, which has given her a passion for sharing the gospel to children of all ages. She teachers preschoolers at her church, and spends time mentoring and discipling high school and college girls in the community. She also serves on the hospitality and prayer teams at her church. In her free time she loves to travel, spend time with family, take long walks and read.
